We’re looking for a self-motivated Experienced Database Developer with strong experience in PostgreSQL to join our team.

You will:

• Design and implement database solutions using PostgreSQL
• Optimize queries and database performance for large-scale systems
• Perform data migration, monitoring, and conduct health checks
• Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures
• Troubleshoot and analyze data differences and gaps between different systems
• Follow guidance set out by corporate security policies and standards
• Ensure departmental security processes and procedures are followed as applicable

You have:

• A University, College and/or Post Graduate Certificate in Computer Science or Engineering a related area of study or equal working experience
• 4+ years of experience as database developer with knowledge in standard and transact SQL
• Solid understanding of relational database design and normalization
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL (including advanced features like indexing, partitioning, and query optimization)
• Good understanding of OOP principles
• Excellent communication skills in English

And we consider as plus:

• Knowledge in Oracle/ PL-SQL
• Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, etc.).
• Knowledge of other database technologies (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Good knowledge in German
