Talent Hunter is currently looking for an experienced Database Engineer to join the team of one of our trusted international partners. This is an excellent opportunity for a database professional passionate about modern technologies, automation, and cloud-native solutions.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle environments, while collaborating with leading Managed Service Providers and technology partners. You’ll also gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and MongoDB Atlas, working at the intersection of performance, scalability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database environments.
•    Collaborate with Managed Service Providers and Professional Service Partners.
•    Manage database performance, scalability, and automation processes.
•    Participate in data migration and integration projects across cloud and on-premise platforms.
•    Support data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BI environments.

Required Experience & Skills:
•    Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and related tools (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS).
•    Practical knowledge of Oracle DBMS and related technologies (OID / OVD).
•    Experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and/or MongoDB / MongoDB Atlas.
•    Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and replication processes.
•    Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
•    Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Oracle, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.

Nice to Have:
•    Experience with migrating from Oracle to Microsoft database stacks.
•    Exposure to modern data warehousing and public cloud deployment.
•    Interest in automation, performance tuning, and scalability.
