Team Lead Back-End Engineer (.NET)

Tech stack: .NET Core, C#, Microservices, REST API, RabbitMQ, MS SQL Server, OpenShift

Our client — a leading European product and technology company in the iGaming industry — is looking for an experienced Back-End Engineer ready to take the next step toward a Team Lead role.

This is not a purely management position — it’s a great opportunity to combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership, shaping the team’s success while staying close to the code.

What you’ll do:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of back-end engineers, fostering collaboration and high performance;
• Actively participate in software design and development, writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code;
• Provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and ensure engineering best practices are followed;
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Design teams to ensure smooth delivery;
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Support team members’ growth and help them overcome technical challenges.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Senior Back-End Engineer with solid knowledge of .NET Core, C#, Microservices, REST APIs;
• Previous experience (even informal) in leading or mentoring engineers or owning part of a project;
• Hands-on mindset — you enjoy coding and solving technical challenges;
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English;
• Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative environments.
