​Working with talented stakeholders from our product management, compliance and account management team with vast experience of the igaming industry and will help give you the knowledge to become an industry expert in your field.

Who are you

We are looking for a self-motivated and confident product owner to join our platform team in Sofia. Your main goal will to be to get as much business value as possible from our Sofia based development team by balancing business priorities, championing best delivery practices and ensuring high quality requirements.

The impact you will have:

​Manage and prioritise team’s backlog:

• Ensure your teams sprint goals align with the aims of the business

• Maximise the output of your development team with careful planning

• Make the goals and progress of the team transparent for senior stakeholders

Gatekeep the quality of the product:

• Ensure requirements coming to your team are of a high quality before committing to start development

• Confidently question and send back stories that haven’t followed process

Own the teams sprint ceremonies:

• Set up and own stand ups, refinement sessions and retrospectives

Drive continuous improvement:

• Use those retrospectives and other metrics to make gradual improvements to ways of working

Become a subject matter expert on your assigned product area:

• Take the time to really understand the purpose and value of both the features your team are developing and existing key features of the platform

• Use expertise to support internal and external audits to ensure platform meets regulatory standard

• Communicate upcoming feature releases with relevant stake holders

Collaborate with developers to solve complex problems

• Engage with frontend and backend developers to ensure that the logic designed is reflected in the final release

• Come to compromises and alternative solutions that can still capture the business need whilst working around other restrictions such as technical limitations, time constraints or regulatory rules

What we’re looking for:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, business management, computer science, or related field preferred but not essential

• Agile, Scrum and Product Ownership Certification a benefit too

Relevant Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, scrum master or a similar role.

• 2+ years of experience specifically in the igaming industry.

Proficiency in Project Management Tools:

• Jira, confluence or similar

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding creative solutions.

Additional preferred experience:

• Experience in latam igaming markets

• Experience working with both sportsbook and casino.

• Spanish or Portuguese language skills
