They are in the process of expanding their activity in Bulgaria and are looking for a professional to take the role of: Quantitative Risk Analyst

Key Responsibilities for the role:

• Develop and implement credit risk methodologies for diverse portfolios (retail, corporate, SME);
• Build and enhance risk models (IFRS 9, EWS, stress testing, scorecards);
• Conduct advanced data handling, including extraction, validation, and reconciliation;
• Ensure regulatory compliance with local and EU risk standards;
• Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders;

Essential requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience in a similar job position (i.e, Quantitative Risk Analyst, Data Analyst, etc.);
• Knowledge of SQL, R, SAS, Python, or similar data tools;
• Comfortable working with large databases and advanced analytics;
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data;
• Experience in risk management, credit risk modeling, or stress testing is a strong plus, but it is not mandatory;
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Economics, Mathematics, (Business) Informatics, Statistics, or a related field is an advantage, but not mandatory;
• Very good command of English (spoken and written);
