    Job Description

    The Lifetime Services team provides post-implementation support to our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations customers. We aim to be among the best in the industry delivering full-scope support, proactive maintenance and continuous improvement to our customers.

    We are growing our Lifetime Service team and looking for a Senior FO Consultantspecialising in Supply Chain and Production to join us on our exciting journey and be part of the Hitachi Solutions family.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Be the customer’s primary point of contact for product-related issues and build and maintain a relationship with the customer over email or phone/conference calls.
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the entire solution to effectively advise on change impacts, assess the effects of upgrades, and train others.
    • Resolve customer questions and inquiries by identifying problems, researching answers, collaborating with vendors/other team members and delivering solutions to problems or creating appropriate workarounds.
    • Provide end-to-end complex application support for issues logged in the ticketing system.
    • Analyse customer requirements and design software solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Supply Chain.
    • Advise customer on solution capabilities and help minimise gaps between standard product and customer’s business processes with creative configuration.
    • Prepare Scoping Documents, Estimates and Functional Specifications for additionally required customisations.
    • Create clear and concise design documents utilizing effective language and suitable design media.
    • Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations/ Dynamics AX Supply Chain, Trade and Logistics, and Inventory
    • Develop robust functional testing scripts to guarantee secure delivery, eliminating follow-up issues.
    • Prepare User Manuals and deliver Training, to assist in acceptance tests, hyper-care/post go live support.

    Qualifications

    Successful candidates will typically have:

    • Fluency in English language, secondary language such as German highly advantageous.
    • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (previously known as AX):
      • Working knowledge of Warehousing, Advanced warehousing, Inventory management and Production control – Essential.
      • Experience of Dual-write – Highly advantageous.
      • Experience of D365 Retail (including POS) highly advantageous.
    • Demonstrable knowledge of Supply Chain Management.
    • Demonstrable experience working in a client facing role.
    • Strong ERP background.
    • Strong working knowledge of business & customer application support processes.
    • A logical approach to problem solving.
    • Strong experience in developing robust testing plans Excellent communication and documentation skills
    • Can-do attitude and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
    • Strong sense of responsibility and autonomy.
