Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and maintain application servers, databases, and cloud-based platforms.

Build and manage scalable microservice-oriented environments.

Ensure stability and high performance of production and development systems through effective monitoring and incident response.

Analyze and resolve performance, productivity, and availability issues across complex infrastructures.

Investigate production incidents using logs, code analysis, and documentation.

Collaborate closely with development and IT teams to set up, maintain, and support environments.

Continuously monitor live systems for availability, latency, and overall health.

Drive improvements across deployment, automation, monitoring, and maintenance processes.

Requirements

Deep understanding of web application architectures and cloud-native infrastructures.

Strong grasp of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and configuration management practices.

Practical experience with:

Git, Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Linux administration (preferably Ubuntu)

Ansible, Terraform, AWS (Networking, IAM, EC2, Route53, EKS, ACM, ASM, RDS, S3, etc.)

Python / Bash scripting (Flask or Django experience is a plus)

Kubernetes / Docker, FluxCD / ArgoCD, Jenkins, HashiCorp Vault

NGINX (reverse proxy, load balancing, SSL/TLS, caching)

Monitoring Stack: Grafana, Prometheus, AlertManager, Fluentd, Fluentbit, Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

Artifact registries: JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, or Harbor

Nice to have:

AWX / Ansible Tower, Helm (chart authoring), HashiCorp Packer, Rancher, Kafka, Redis, Loki, Mimir, Tempo, Velero, Kyverno, or Go.

Additional qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)

4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in production-grade environments

Excellent command of technical English

Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills

Detail-oriented and proactive, able to handle multiple tasks effectively
