We are looking for a Senior SRE Cloud Engineer!

About the role

Our client is expanding their international engineering team and we are searching for a Site Reliability Engineer with expertise in storage infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring stability, scalability, and performance across highly available storage environments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize reliable storage systems (Block, Object, Backup, File).
• Automate provisioning and operational processes (Python / Golang, Bash, Ansible).
• Contribute to robust and efficient storage architecture design.
• Perform capacity planning and performance optimization.
• Handle incidents and lead post-mortem analysis to implement improvements.
• Work in containerized system landscapes (e.g. Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with international teams in an agile environment.

Your profile

• Proven experience with one or more storage solutions (NetApp, Cohesity, Pure, Ceph, etc.).
• Strong background in storage operations, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch).
• Knowledge of APIs (REST, Golang, Python) is an advantage.
• Passion for new technologies and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication in English (German is a plus).
