    Tech Stack / Requirements

    This role would require from the candidate to get comfortable in both technical and business ways with Tradu data to an extent where s/he becomes a data expert and adviser for various ongoing and future projects, as well as is able to initiate new projects and make them a reality. The BI Analyst will also become a go-to person for a variety of business requests and will be expected to come up with the new initiatives for automation and reporting processes improvements.

    Primary responsibilities (not limited to)

    • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
    • Define and lead business improvement projects
    • Liaise with business heads and other management on reporting optimizations and process improvement initiatives
    • Consult management on data and analyzes associated with business goals, KPIs and benchmarks
    • Validate, manipulate, and perform exploratory data analysis on datasets
    • Review, refine and document business requirements and processes
    • Drive efficiency by designing and delivering tool enhancement and automation
    • Analyze and test new data sources for availability and quality, and integrate with internal sources
    • Closely work with the rest of the Data Science and Analytics department: Data Science and Data warehouse teams
    • Share knowledge and expertise with other team members to enable continued team skills development

    Requirements

    Required:

    • Superset, Tableau, SQL programming, Data Processing / Data Analysis / Data Mining / Data Manipulation / Data Extraction experience;
    • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development;
    • Proactiveness;
    • Strong interest to dig into big data and create meaningful insights that will drive business decisions;
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills;
    • A team player who is detail-oriented with a high level of organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality, multi-task, determine priorities and meet deadlines on time in a fast-paced business environment;
    • A self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision;
    • Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications;
    • Strong project management, presentation, and organization skills

    Preferred but not mandatory:

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills – Macros / Automation;
    • Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.;
    • Additional programming languages (VBA, Python);
    • Some experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python

    Working Hours: 40/week, Monday–Friday. Hybrid: 3 days in-office.
