Senior Angular and Node.js Full-Stack Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and adaptable Angular and Node.js Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team at EPAM. In this role, you will bring your strong technical background in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to the table, ensuring the stability, maintenance, and evolution of some of our critical systems. You’ll lead efforts to support existing platforms, enhance operational efficiency, and address security vulnerabilities while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent quality, innovation, and effective decision-making, with a focus on system stability and enhanced operational support
• Lead the support and maintenance of a legacy CI/CD system with a large user base
• Investigate and resolve user-reported issues while proactively proposing improvements to reduce manual intervention, prevent downtime, and streamline operations
• Own the technical onboarding workflow in the CI/CD system, managing ServiceNow (SNOW) tickets for onboarding, platform configuration, and user access
• Proactively identify and resolve security vulnerabilities within the CI/CD ecosystem, applying security patches and ensuring compliance with internal standards
• Maintain and improve internal documentation for onboarding workflows, troubleshooting guidelines, and known issues
• Drive improvements to team processes by introducing reusable templates, automated responses, and efficient ticket triaging strategies
• Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders, platform owners, and engineering teams to align onboarding workflows and operational enhancements with technical and business needs
• Provide day-to-day mentorship to junior DevOps engineers, improve operational maturity, and lead retrospectives and technical discussions

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (including debugging and creating Helm charts)
• Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) and TypeScript for in-depth platform-level debugging
• Experience operating and supporting CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or enterprise-specific solutions)
• Working knowledge of Git version control workflows
• Proven troubleshooting skills with a focus on incident resolution and process improvement
• Ownership mindset with the ability to balance day-to-day support and strategic innovation
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with excellent written and verbal communication
• Proven track record of end-to-end delivery experience for system support or CI/CD initiatives
• Ability to mentor and guide junior colleagues while driving operational excellence

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM/ticketing systems
• Experience using observability tools like Splunk
