    ABOUT US

Alphavision is a technology company with 15+ years of experience in the design and development of websites, mobile applications, and CRM/ERP solutions. Our team builds platforms that automate business and logistics workflows. Our key client is Happy — Bulgaria’s most successful restaurant chain — for whom we have led the digital transformation over the past 10 years. As we expand the team, we’re looking for an experienced leader motivated to take on ambitious new projects.

    ROLE OVERVIEW

As a QA Lead & Product Manager, you will be the team’s primary professional tester — hands on with manual and exploratory testing — while also owning product outcomes. You will drive quality across new internal platforms (logistics; CRM/e commerce with ERP aspects) and our existing legacy systems. You’ll define acceptance criteria and quality gates end to end, set the automation strategy and requirements (developers implement the automated tests), align stakeholders, and guide squads to ship reliable, high impact releases without disrupting current operations.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Product & Delivery: Translate business needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria; prioritize the backlog; plan releases and cutovers; facilitate refinement/demos; communicate risks, scope, and timelines.

    • Quality Leadership & Hands on Testing: Define and drive a risk based test strategy (API/E2E/UAT); perform manual and exploratory testing of critical flows and integrations; author and maintain test cases; ensure quality gates (DoR/DoD, release criteria), traceability (requirements → tests → defects), and effective defect triage.

    • Automation Strategy: Define scope, levels, and acceptance for automated tests (API, E2E, smoke/regression); collaborate with developers/SDETs who implement automation; track coverage and flakiness; require fixes where necessary.

    • Integrations: Coordinate integrations with external services and platforms (payment gateways, Google Cloud APIs, external AI models, etc.); ensure data integrity, security, and resilience across systems.

    • Legacy Systems: Map critical flows, reduce regression risk (smoke/regression suites), plan phased rollouts, and oversee modernization initiatives while maintaining business continuity.

    • Metrics & Outcomes: Define success metrics (e.g., UAT pass rate, escaped defects, cycle time/lead time, MTTR, automation coverage) and report on progress.

    MUST HAVE

    • 7+ years of combined experience across QA and Product (PM/PO) or Project Management roles, including ownership of acceptance criteria, release gates, and quality outcomes for complex web platforms.

    • Proven risk based testing mindset and API first thinking; familiarity with API/E2E tooling (Postman, Cypress, Playwright).

    • Experience planning and accepting integrations (payments, external APIs/AI) and working with engineering on automation strategy (you set the bar; engineers implement).

    • Demonstrated collaboration with Engineering Leads to uphold code review culture, CI/CD practices, and production observability.

    • Ability to drive both greenfield initiatives and legacy modernization (phased rollout, change management, documentation).

    NICE TO HAVE

    • SLO/SLI thinking; incident management and post mortem practice.

    • Experience with Gherkin/BDD and requirements traceability tools.

    • Exposure to data/ML quality or AI assisted testing approaches.

    WHAT WE OFFER

    • Highly competitive salary depending on experience.

    • Remote friendly setup and equipment support. Optional access to our Varna office for hybrid/on site days.

    • Excellent career development opportunities.

    • Friendly, supportive, and sustainable environment that values collaboration.

    HOW TO APPLY

Please attach your CV and include a brief note describing the projects/tasks you have worked on (including product/quality ownership, legacy modernization, and integrations), the key challenges you faced, and the solutions/process/technology choices you implemented—and why.
