The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. What you’ll build

We are seeking a Scrum Master with a passion for innovation and experience in advanced AI/ML agile delivery environments, especially agentic AI (LLMs, autonomous agents, RAG). You will serve, empower and coach agile teams working on next-generation agentic AI products, ensuring a steady flow of value, collaboration, and high performance—while partnering with our Product Manager to streamline work and enable product excellence.

As a Scrum Master in our Agentic AI teams, you are both a facilitator and a servant-leader, driving agile best practices while actively supporting the Technical Product Manager to maximize the impact of our agentic AI solutions. In this unique role, you help organize and maintain the heartbeat of team operations: from managing backlogs and Jira boards to refining stories and sprint goals, you ensure clarity and focus so the Technical Product Manager can steer vision and priorities. Your dedication removes friction and brings structure—transforming teamwork into product excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion Scrum and agile practices across AI/ML and agentic AI teams, fostering self-organization and an agile mindset
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement) and ensure smooth delivery operations
• Support Technical Product Managers in refining and prioritizing backlogs, organizing Jira boards, and translating vision into actionable sprint plans
• Remove impediments, resolve conflicts, and enable effective cross-functional collaboration across engineering, data science, product, and design
• Promote transparency, experimentation, continuous learning, and psychological safety to build high-performing teams
• Track sprint progress, metrics, and team health; coach teams to meet commitments and continuously improve velocity
• Maintain focus on delivering business value while supporting technical excellence, quality, and responsible AI practices

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach with technical delivery teams (AI/ML, agentic AI, or complex software products preferred)
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, etc.); knowledge of SAFe or scaled agile frameworks is a plus
• Skilled in structuring and prioritizing Jira boards, backlogs, and sprint planning with Product Owners; experienced in facilitating all Scrum ceremonies
• Effective at removing blockers, driving continuous improvement, and enabling high-performing teams
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and facilitation skills with a focus on psychological safety and change leadership
• Passion for agile delivery excellence and curiosity for emerging tech, AI trends, and autonomous systems
