Mid/Senior Game Developer (Frontend)

Role Overview

As a young and fast-growing company, we’re designing everything from the ground up — with scalability, creativity, and world-class performance at the core.

We’re looking for a talented Frontend / Game Developer to join our founding team and help build the next generation of casino slot games. In this hands-on role, you’ll work with TypeScript, Svelte/React, PixiJS, and GSAP to deliver polished, engaging, and performant gameplay. As one of our first developers, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape our technical direction, define our game framework, and establish best practices that will set the foundation for our growth.

What You’ll Do:

– Design and develop slot games and supporting front-end features using TypeScript and Svelte/React

– Build high-performance 2D game experiences with PixiJS and GSAP animations

– Collaborate with game designers, artists, and backend engineers to deliver engaging user experiences

– Ensure games run smoothly across browsers and devices with optimized performance

– Contribute to the creation of reusable components and internal frameworks for future game development

– Work closely with QA to maintain quality standards and deliver bug-free games

– Help define best practices and coding standards for the frontend/game development team

– Contribute ideas to improve game mechanics, animations, and player engagement

– Play a key role in building the company from the ground up, with the chance to influence tools, workflows, and team culture

What We’re Looking For:

– Strong experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (Svelte or React)

– Hands-on experience with PixiJS (or other 2D rendering/game engines)

– Proficiency in creating smooth, performant animations with GSAP

– Solid understanding of web performance optimization, especially in game development

– Experience building responsive, cross-platform frontends

– Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

– Startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, hands-on, and eager to build from scratch

Nice-to-Have:

– Experience developing casino slot games, casual games, or similar interactive applications

– Familiarity with WebGL, Spine animations, or other game/animation frameworks

– Exposure to backend integration (REST APIs, WebSockets)

– Knowledge of game math, RNG, or mechanics used in slot development

– Previous experience in a startup or small team environment
