We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to build and lead the Modern Workplace Services function within A1’s international Business Delivery Center. As Director of Modern Workplace Services, you will be responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and user-centric workplace and collaboration services to B2B customers across all A1 markets. This role is key to harmonizing and modernizing workplace experiences—driving efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction through a unified group-wide delivery setup.
Your Mission is to establish a unified workplace services organization that delivers secure, modern, and seamless collaboration experiences across all markets – empowering our customers to work smarter, safer, and more effectively.
Define and execute the group-wide strategy for Modern Workplace Services, aligned with customer needs and business goals.
Build and lead a centralized delivery organization covering collaboration platforms, endpoint services, identity, directory services, and workplace security.
Drive the transformation from fragmented local setups to a scalable, efficient, and standardized service model across A1 markets.
Ensure seamless delivery and lifecycle management of core workplace technologies, including productivity suites, collaboration tools, endpoint management, directory services (e.g., enterprise directories, federation, synchronization), identity and access platforms.
Integrate automation, self-service, and AI-driven capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the user experience.
Ensure secure and compliant workplace environments by collaborating with security, compliance, and product teams.
Manage performance KPIs to ensure service excellence, cost-efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Stay ahead of emerging trends in digital workplace technologies, hybrid work enablement, and user experience design.
Your Profile
Extensive leadership experience in IT service delivery, ideally in digital workplace or collaboration services
Strong understanding of modern workplace architecture, including productivity platforms, endpoint protection, directory services, device lifecycle management, and identity services
Familiarity with hybrid IT environments and integration of on-premises and cloud-based services
Proven ability to lead international delivery teams and manage complex transformation programs
Experience with automation and service metrics
Proficient in English (minimum B2 level); German or other languages are a plus
Willingness to travel occasionally across A1 Group markets
