As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Cloud DevOps Platform Engineer in our Big Data team.
Your tasks:
Supporting our lead cloud and security architects in developing cloud-native applications, mentoring others in technical concepts, and implementing security practices for future cloud-based use cases;
Supporting CCoE’s Use Cases during their cloud migration;
Developing and maintaining Use Case overarching cloud-native applications and solutions;
Leveraging capabilities of the latest cloud technologies to explore future-proof software solutions;
Developing and integrating security/compliance/data-protection standards and controls into the public cloud environment;
Communicating Commerzbank’s needs and pain points to Cloud Partners (Google, Microsoft);
Working closely with other members of the CCoE team and assisting in designing secure software solutions;
Driving cloud adoption as a knowledge multiplier—across BDAA and strategic use cases in Commerzbank.
Your profile:
Knowledge of GCP services with a strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and services for the purpose of connecting managed services and implementing comprehensive data solutions.
Proficient in automating the building, testing, and deployment of applications (provisioning of infrastructure) and the subsequent solution delivery to production environments.
Proficient in Terraform for scripting and automation related tasks.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes or other).
Good knowledge of information security principles, networking, applications in the cloud environment.
Programming skills such as being proficient for scripting and automation related tasks.
