About the Company

Our client, a well-established digital competency center with extensive experience in international e-commerce, is driving eMobility projects for a top-tier German sports car manufacturer. Their focus is on creating backend systems that enable electric vehicle charging networks across Europe.

The Role

As a Senior Java Developer, you will own backend development tasks for mission-critical systems:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java 17+ backend systems using Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.

Build and secure REST APIs and contribute to a scalable microservices architecture.

Collaborate with stakeholders to challenge and refine requirements and propose innovative solutions.

Ensure software quality through unit, integration, and system tests.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Java backend experience.
• Strong Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, SQL, and REST API skills.
• Proficiency with Git and microservices design.
• English – B2 minimum, C1 preferred.
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks, reactive programming, AWS, CI/CD, Kafka, or eMobility standards is a plus.
