Responsibilities

• Design work in the mobile excavator undercarriage department, particularly the undercarriage steel structure and support and attachment components
• Collaborate on new equipment developments in the undercarriage area
• Support the preliminary design of components using Creo Simulate
• Setting up and further developing the existing undercarriage construction kit, and making technical changes
• Variant design and creation of CAD models
• Maintenance of parts lists throughout the product lifecycle (prototype, pre-production, production)
• Coordination and close cooperation with the relevant specialist department

Competencies

• Successfully completed studies in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related degree programmes
• Very good knowledge of steel construction and welded structures
• Basic knowledge of powertrain components and chassis technology
• Confident use of 3D CAD (preferably PTC Creo Parametric) and MS Office applications
• Good written and spoken English (at least level B2)
• Good written and spoken German and a willingness to learn will be an advantage
• Ability to work in a structured and meticulous way
• Good communication skills
