About the company
Our client, a global leader in cloud-driven solutions, is hiring a Senior AWS/Hybrid Network Engineer to strengthen their high-availability infrastructure. The role combines advanced AWS networking expertise with hands-on administration of hybrid and enterprise-grade networks.
Responsibilities
Architect, implement, and manage AWS networking services (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53).
Lead troubleshooting and performance optimization across cloud and on-prem infrastructures.
Define and enforce network security policies in partnership with Security and SRE teams.
Design and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity setups.
Guide automation initiatives using Terraform, Jenkins, and Ansible.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
Engage with vendors to evaluate and implement best-fit network technologies.
Requirements
4+ years in network engineering or administration, with proven AWS networking expertise.
Deep knowledge of routing, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and enterprise-grade network security.
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Dell, or Mikrotik environments.
Strong background in IaC and DevOps-oriented practices (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 environment.
AWS Advanced Networking or relevant vendor certifications (CCNP, JNCIP, etc.) are a strong plus.
Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
