Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize embedded C software for Linux-based x86 gaming terminals.

Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate peripherals such as card readers, printers, and touchscreens.

Debug and troubleshoot hardware/software issues using Linux-based tools.

Implement and maintain device drivers for peripherals.

Ensure software complies with gaming industry standards (GLI, MGA).

Optimize code for real-time performance and memory-constrained environments.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in embedded C programming on Linux systems.

Strong Linux system programming skills (POSIX, syscalls, multithreading).

Knowledge of hardware communication protocols (USB, UART, I2C, SPI).

Hands-on experience with debugging tools like GDB, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers.

Understanding of real-time systems and memory-constrained environments.

Nice to Have

Linux system administration (systemd, X11, udev).

Web-enabled device driver experience.

Android development background.

Scripting in Bash or Python for testing and automation.
