About the company

Our client is an innovative gaming solutions company creating Linux-based gaming terminals. They are looking for a Mid-Level Embedded C Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, hardware-oriented environment and enjoys working on high-performance real-time systems.

Responsibilities

Design and implement embedded C software for x86 Linux gaming terminals.

Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to interface with peripheral devices.

Maintain and develop drivers for hardware components.

Optimize software for stability, security, and real-time responsiveness.

Troubleshoot system-level issues using Linux debugging tools and protocol analyzers.

Ensure compliance with international gaming regulations (GLI, MGA).

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded C development on Linux platforms.

Strong knowledge of Linux system programming, multithreading, and POSIX APIs.

Experience with hardware communication protocols (USB, UART, I2C, SPI).

Skilled in using debugging tools (GDB, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers).

Understanding of real-time constraints and memory-limited environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with systemd, X11, or udev configuration.

Familiarity with Android or Web-enabled device drivers.

Bash or Python scripting for automation or testing.
