    What is your new role:

    • act as the dedicated QA for our Mobile Team, actively participating in daily standups, sprint planning, and other Scrum ceremonies to help developers close their tickets rapidly;
    • test our own mobile apps that are integral part of our products’ ecosystem (if you’d like to do your research  you can check them out:  RControl, Alula Security, Smartlink Security);
    • design test scenarios based on requirements and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT);
    • perform manual testing and contribute to automated test coverage (UI and API);
    • configure, manage, and maintain physical devices including alarm/control panels, communicators, cameras, and home automation or access control hardware for development and QA purposes;
    • reproduce and triage issues from Sales, Technical Support, and clients, escalate when needed and coordinate with internal partners for status updates;
    • ensure thorough regression testing before each release;
    • help evolve the test strategy, including regression suites and automation.

     

    What it takes:

    • proven experience in QA for mobile apps (iOS and Android);
    • being skilled in test design, defect tracking, and working in Agile teams, using Jira tools;
    • having strong communication skills and fluent English (written and spoken);
    • ability to collaborate with an international team;
    • being proactive, organized, and passionate about product quality and usability;
    • nice to have – knowledge of tools like Appium;
    • nice to have – good knowledge of smart home, IoT, or security systems is a strong plus.
