We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a nearshoring team engaged in innovative eMobility projects for a renowned German sports car manufacturer. This role offers the opportunity to work on business-critical backend systems that power electric vehicle charging services across Europe, leveraging modern microservices architecture and cutting-edge backend technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Java backend development experience
• Strong knowledge of Java 17+, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and SQL
• Proven experience in designing and consuming REST APIs (including secure mTLS communication)
• AWS experience (VPC, ECS/Fargate, Aurora, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Proficiency with Git
• Expertise in microservices architecture and Clean Code practices
• Fluent English (C1 preferred, B2 minimum)

At least one of the following:

• Frontend development with Angular 16+ & Angular Material UI
• Reactive programming & Quarkus
• Backend test automation (integration & system tests)

What Would be a plus

• AWS Developer Associate Certification or higher
• CI/CD with GitLab, Terraform, Clean Architecture, OpenTelemetry
• Kafka, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus
• Knowledge of eMobility standards (OCPP, OCPI, OICP, MSP, CPO, Hubject)
