Python Engineer with Kubernetes

About the project:

For a French health technology company focused on developing innovative solutions for personalized medicine and digital health, we are looking for a Python engineer with Kubernetes. By focusing on personalized treatment plans and leveraging AI, our partner contributes to the advancement of precision medicine, helping to address the challenges of traditional healthcare approaches and improving overall patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
• Ensure services meet healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC2).
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with strong documentation.
• Collaborate with platform, product, and security teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Implement observability, error handling, and logging to support production systems.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions.
• Design, implement, and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a backend software engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python (REST APIs, microservices, automation).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Proficiency with AWS services (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM).
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with database design and optimization.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and data protection principles.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2, ISO 27001).
• Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Helm).
• Background in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
