Project Description

The team is engaged in stabilizing and evolving the company’s core platform, which is critical to internal operations and third-party integrations. The platform is built on a Golang-based codebase hosted on AWS. The focus is on reducing technical debt, improving architecture, enhancing testing practices, and establishing scalable, modern infrastructure to support long-term growth. Developers will work closely with the client’s architectural board and technical leads to identify and implement improvements that align with business goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with the Architect/Team Lead to maintain and evolve the core backend system
• Identify architectural improvements and implement clean, scalable solutions
• Write and maintain high-quality code using Golang and relational databases
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability and stability
• Contribute ideas and technical solutions in grooming and planning sessions
• Interact directly with the client, providing updates and discussing technical requirements
• Participate in bi-weekly sprint cycles, working within a Kanban-style workflow
• Take proactive ownership of tasks beyond standard ticket execution

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Golang, relational databases (RDBMS), and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with the wider team.
• Comfortable taking direction from a technical lead while also contributing new ideas.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests as part of daily development workflow.
• Strong English communication skills, English level from B2.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
