    Position Overview

    Our client is a US-based asset management firm that develops a next-generation wealth management platform.

    We’re looking for a talented Backend Developer with a strong GraphQL experience to join our engineering team. You’ll work on robust back-end systems using modern TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks. You’ll be a key part of the development process from architecture to deployment.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain Node.js applications using TypeScript
    • Build and optimize GraphQL APIs for performance, scalability, and security
    • Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver seamless API integrations
    • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
    • Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring high availability and reliability
    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
    • Stay updated on new trends and tools in TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL ecosystems

     

    Requirements

    • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
    • Hands-on experience building and maintaining GraphQL APIs (Apollo)
    • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
    • Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
    • Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
    • Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum team environment

     

    Nice To Have

    • Experience with Apollo Server/Client ecosystem
    • Understanding of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
    • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for containerized deployments
    • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
