ABAP Developer (External)

We are looking for an ABAP Developer (External) to join Heidelberg Materials Digital Hub Varna.

About the role:

You will be part of an exciting and international team providing technical implementations for SAP ECC, S/4HANA and other transformation projects. We have embarked on our journey towards S/4HANA implementation. As an SAP Software Engineer, you will be reporting to the SAP Software Engineering Manager and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions. The position requires strong technical expertise SAP ABAP area.  You will contribute to the implementation custom developments, enhancements, Fiori app development and other development artifacts.

Your next challenge:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP.
• Work across all SAP ABAP areas including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF).
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop and maintain OData services and integrate with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Contribute to projects involving SAP S/4HANA and RAP-based development.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Your profile:

• Extensive hand-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Experience with ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development is an advantage.
• Exposure to the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) is an advantage.
• Understanding of SAP HANA-based data models and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of SAP Modules like SD, MM, FI, CO, PP etc.
• Experience with authorization concepts and Roles.
• Proficient in debugging and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
