Senior Salesforce Engineer – Remote/Hybrid, Bulgaria

For the international client of a well-established service company here in Sofia. We are looking for experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer. 

As a Senior Salesforce Engineer, you will help drive the modernization of our Salesforce systems, enhancing experiences for call centers and customers. You will collaborate with product owners and stakeholders, participate in technical discussions, and ensure the solutions are both high-quality and fit for purpose. Reporting to a Principal Engineer, you will also mentor other engineers and support delivery of the technical vision. Your work will involve Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and custom Salesforce configurations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, and implement custom Salesforce features.
• Developing and improving Salesforce applications, integrations, and customizations using contemporary technologies.
• Automating business processes to operate efficiently at scale.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
• Documenting technical designs and workflows to maintain comprehensive knowledge.
• Providing ongoing support for production systems.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working with Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, JavaScript, and Lightning
• Proven previous hands-on experience with enterprise Salesforce implementations, particularly with Sales and Service clouds, demonstrated by Salesforce Developer Certifications – App Builder and Platform Developer 1
• Familiarity with Agile software delivery and the use of tools such as Jira, Github and CI/CD
• Experience with 3rd party applications (Docusign/Conga) would be beneficial
• Highly developed listening skills, excellent customer service skills, and strong professional written and oral communication skills
• Ability to coach and mentor more junior Salesforce Engineers
