We are looking to hire a skilled PHP and WordPress developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.

To be a successful WordPress developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress developer can create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.

Experience:

3–5 years professional experience in custom WordPress development (themes, plugins, and integrations).

What you’ll be doing:

Designing and developing website’s architecture as well as building new features and functionalities

Developing custom WordPress plugins and extending core functionality using hooks/actions.

Implementing and maintaining responsive front-end themes.

Integrating WordPress with external APIs and third-party systems.

Handling the back end, including database and server integration.

Optimizing websites for scalability, caching, and speed.

Conducting website performance tests and troubleshooting errors.

Maintaining well-documented, reusable, and transferable code.

Fixing and monitoring production issues.

What you’ll bring:

Strong proficiency in PHP (OOP), MySQL, and WordPress core.

Hands-on experience building custom plugins and advanced themes.

Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

Experience with responsive design and modern front-end workflows.

Ability to convert wireframes and layouts into functional pages.

Familiarity with debugging tools (Chrome DevTools, Query Monitor, etc.).

Experience with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).

Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git.

Understanding of SEO principles and technical SEO.

Knowledge of hosting environments, DNS management, and deployment workflows (staging/production, CI/CD).

Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Problem-solving mindset and a can-do, positive attitude.

Bonus points for:

Contributions to the WordPress community (plugins, themes, GitHub repos, StackOverflow).

Familiarity with NGINX/Apache optimization and Cloudflare/CDN setups.
