KPMG IT Service OOD is an IT service provider with a mission to digitalize the core business of KPMG IT Service GmbH and KPMG AG in Germany and their clients across the globe. We employ around 200 people in Sofia and deliver the full spectrum of IT services to our clients, including Software Engineering, Application & Platform Operations, Infrastructure and Cloud, Digital Compliance and Valuation of Financial Instruments.

As a Junior IT Compliance Specialist, you will:
Participate actively in the analysis and assessment of customers’ technological and business critical infrastructure to ensure processes and systems run accurately and efficiently
Take part in ITGC, ISAE 3402, IT SOX compliance, JSOX compliance, data migration and System and Organization Controls (SOC 1/2/3) projects
Be an integral part of a consulting team regarding process digitalization and optimization
Close collaboration with the KPMG onshore counterparts as part of project delivery
Receive mentorship from more senior team members to help you grow your technical knowledge and skills
Attend internal and external trainings to develop skills and knowledge relevant to project work
What you bring in:
University degree in an Information Technologies, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Audit related discipline
Interest in analysis and logical-problem-solving in terms of IT systems, investigation of dependencies and complexities
Passion for diving into complex processes and applying advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Proactive approach to work tasks and a delivery mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong team player; eager to learn
Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver high quality results
Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations
Fluency in English, German language skills are considered an advantage
