You can work from any VSG office location, including Plovdiv and Veliko Tarnovo.

Working Hours

9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Bulgarian Time Zone)

Technologies We Use 

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will help ensure the quality of our products while developing your skills as a QA professional. You’ll work closely with experienced QA specialists, developers, and product teams, gaining hands-on experience with testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

This role is a great opportunity for someone with at least one year of QA experience who wants to grow and build expertise in API and microservices testing.

Your Responsibilities

As a Junior QA Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Execute manual and automation test cases and assist in creating test scenarios for new and existing products.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Validate API endpoints using tools like Postman (API testing experience is a strong plus).
• Document test results, report bugs, and track their resolution.
• Collaborate with QA teammates, developers, and product managers to ensure product quality.
• Follow QA best practices and company standards while actively learning and improving your skills.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• 1+ year of experience in software testing (manual testing required).
• Basic understanding of testing methodologies (functional, regression, exploratory).
• Familiarity with tools like Postman (API testing knowledge is a big plus).
• Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have (but not required)

• Exposure to automation testing tools and concepts.
• Experience with Jira or similar issue tracking/project management tools.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, or CI/CD tools.
• Interest or background in Fintech.
