Web Developer

Carista is a fast-growing Bulgarian company that loves cars. For the past couple of years, more than half a million drivers worldwide have diagnosed and coded their Audi, BMW or Lexus with our mobile app. If you are into cars and mobile apps, then we have the right job for you.

We are looking for a Web Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and developing our new website, as well as integrating it with our existing systems.

What we’re looking for in our candidates:

• 2+ years of proven work experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role
• Experience working with PHP8, Laravel, MySQL
• Experience in front-end technologies, including but not limited to JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, XML
• Experience with version control systems
• Troubleshooting & debugging skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to the delegated tasks and responsibilities
• Curiosity and a strong desire to learn, grow and be up-to-date with the trends and the best practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment and meet the deadlines; ability to work independently but within one strong team
• Fluent verbal, written and presentational skills in English

Bonus skills:

• Experience with Shopify
• Passionate about cars and vehicle technologies

Key responsibilities:

• Development of Carista’s web platform (site & API)
• Work closely with designers and product owners in order to deliver working solutions in a timely manner
• Maintaining a well-tested codebase with continuous integration and coverage reporting
• Share your knowledge and help the team evolve best practices
• Work in small autonomous teams with short release cycles
