    SiteGround is a tech product and service company powering millions of online businesses worldwide.

    From world-class web hosting, to SaaS platforms for site building, e-commerce, and email marketing, we develop all our products in-house to help businesses start, grow and succeed online more easily.

    At the heart of our 20-year success is our people-driven company culture focused on performance, innovation, technical excellence, and early strategic adoption of AI.

    Together, we are one of the most technically-advanced companies in our industry, recognized by over 90 of the most prestigious business, employer, and social responsibility awards worldwide.

    YOUR ROLE:

    Join us as our first Android Engineer and lead the development of native Android apps for our SaaS platforms — including E-Commerce, and AI Tools. You’ll be responsible for setting up the Android development workflow, defining coding standards, building CI/CD pipelines, and publishing apps to Google Play. You’ll have ownership of the full lifecycle, from architecture to release, and will help shape the mobile experience for thousands of customers.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Build from scratch: Architect, develop, and maintain native Android apps with Kotlin, and modern Android libraries (Jetpack Compose, AndroidX, etc.).
    • Own the workflow: Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
    • Connect to our world: Integrate with RESTful APIs and backend systems.
    • Lead the standard: Define coding guidelines, architecture patterns, and scalable project structures.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with backend, frontend, product, and design teams to deliver a seamless user experience.
    • Optimize relentlessly: Ensure performance, stability, and security across devices and OS versions.
    • Ship confidently: Manage the Google Play publishing process, from signing to release notes.

    OUR EXPECTATIONS:

    • 5+ years of professional Android development experience;
    • Strong proficiency with Kotlin and modern Android frameworks;
    • Experience with Jetpack Compose and AndroidX components;
    • Solid understanding of Gradle build configuration, app signing, and Play Store processes;
    • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing offline storage;
    • Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD tools ( GitHub Actions, Gradle, Bitrise, etc.);
    • Comfortable working with GIT in a team environment.

    GREAT ADVANTAGE WILL BE:

    • Previous experience as the first/lead Android engineer in a team;
    • Knowledge of architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture);
    • Experience with push notifications, in-app purchases, or analytics tools.

    WHAT WE OFFER:

    • Working on in-house built products, using the latest technologies;
    • Competitive salary with achievement bonus;
    • Premium Health Insurance plan;
    • Employee Assistance program;
    • Аdditional trainings to upskill your job competences;
    • Sponsorship to attend worldwide conferences with full company coverage of business expenses;
    • Free company restaurant with our own chef team;
    • Free access to our in-office gym with professional instructors (including Table tennis, Yoga, Pilates, HIIT, Prama classes and more);
    • Multisport or CoolFit card;
    • Additional days off for long service and volunteering;
    • Reduced working hours every Friday.
