YOUR ROLE:
Join us as our first Android Engineer and lead the development of native Android apps for our SaaS platforms — including E-Commerce, and AI Tools. You’ll be responsible for setting up the Android development workflow, defining coding standards, building CI/CD pipelines, and publishing apps to Google Play. You’ll have ownership of the full lifecycle, from architecture to release, and will help shape the mobile experience for thousands of customers.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build from scratch: Architect, develop, and maintain native Android apps with Kotlin, and modern Android libraries (Jetpack Compose, AndroidX, etc.).
Own the workflow: Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
Connect to our world: Integrate with RESTful APIs and backend systems.
Lead the standard: Define coding guidelines, architecture patterns, and scalable project structures.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with backend, frontend, product, and design teams to deliver a seamless user experience.
Optimize relentlessly: Ensure performance, stability, and security across devices and OS versions.
Ship confidently: Manage the Google Play publishing process, from signing to release notes.
OUR EXPECTATIONS:
5+ years of professional Android development experience;
Strong proficiency with Kotlin and modern Android frameworks;
Experience with Jetpack Compose and AndroidX components;
Solid understanding of Gradle build configuration, app signing, and Play Store processes;
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing offline storage;
Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD tools ( GitHub Actions, Gradle, Bitrise, etc.);
Comfortable working with GIT in a team environment.
GREAT ADVANTAGE WILL BE:
Previous experience as the first/lead Android engineer in a team;
Knowledge of architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture);
Experience with push notifications, in-app purchases, or analytics tools.
