Our client is a leading company in the power and energy solutions sector, currently seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join its IT team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining AI and machine learning solutions to support various business functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for innovation, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months (extension option)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement AI models and algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities.
• Optimize and validate machine learning models.
• Document AI processes and mentor junior engineers.
• Stay current with AI advancements and ensure ethical AI practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AI development and machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft CoPilot Studio, and RAG.
• Strong understanding of data preprocessing, model optimization, and AI governance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to mentor and lead junior engineers.
• Strategic mindset with hands-on technical skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
