As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Google Cloud Developer (Engineer) in our Dialog Systems team.

As a GCP Engineer, you will be responsible for developing applications and data flows, as well as their business purposes, to design and develop enterprise products related to conversational AI automation, for the comdirect brand. To achieve this, you will develop software within the GCP.

Your tasks:

• Analysing, technical and functional solution designing (implementing new functions, modules, or interfaces. For this, the role requires combining process skill and understanding of technology used).
• Developing and communicating solutions and concepts within teams involved (located in Sofia, Quickborn, and Rostock).
• Defining functional test scenarios as well as quality assuring measures.
• In case of incidents or issues, analysing and designing solutions to the problems, in close collaboration with other involved teams.
• Being the GCP development expert within your scrum team.

Your profile:

• Proficiency in managing and deploying cloud resources on GCP, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes (GKE), and Cloud Storage.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and setting up CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build and Cloud Run.
• Knowledge of network architecture and design in the cloud, including VPC, Subnets, Firewalls, VPN, and Load Balancing.
• Experience with various GCP storage solutions such as Cloud Storage, Persistent Disks, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, or Datastore.
• Ability to use Big Data services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, or Pub/Sub.
• Familiarity with security best practices, Identity and Access Management (IAM), as well as encryption mechanisms.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python or Java, which are useful for scripting and application development.
• Basic understanding of AI and ML concepts to comprehend the logic and decision-making of AI in the application and be able to further develop.
• Experience deploying and managing containers and Kubernetes clusters (GKE).
