    As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Application Engineer Operations with focus on system support in our HR Processes and Products organization.

    We are building a new (cloud) architecture for our HR platforms and need experts who enjoy redesigning and optimizing our processes. You help create an optimal working environment for our employees – for the best time at Commerzbank.

    As an Engineer Operations with a focus on system support, you are the contact person for operational topics in your team. Your job is to keep the ongoing operations of IT products stable and to ensure regulatory compliance. You are involved in the entire lifecycle of the applications beginning with technical requirements, technical testing, infrastructure design, handling of outages in production and technical changes in infrastructure.

    You will be responsible for the productive environment of different products. Products, such as a tool for supporting the restructuring processes of the whole Commerzbank, as well as a product for employee surveys, the electronic personell file and a tool used to create certificates, will be under your responsibility.

    Your tasks:

    • Monitoring infrastructure and applications as well as interfaces, and being available for on-call duty
    • Improving the monitoring and operational stability of applications
    • Providing user support for functional and technical questions regarding IT applications
    • Incident Management: Monitoring systems and respond to incidents to minimize downtime and service disruptions
    • Change Management: Producing change requests in accordance with the rules
    • Livecycle management: supporting the release process of the vendors
    • Creating regulatory documentation, such as operational and safety concepts.
    • Ensuring all service level agreements are met

    Your profile:

    • Previous experience as a DevOps, Technical Product Manager or in an IT support role.
    • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL).
    • Experience with Agile software development and Scrum methodologies.
    • Proactive and structured approach to operations and project support.
    • Strong customer orientation and ownership of responsibilities.
    • Experience in working with Qualtrics or org.manager for SuccessFactors or SuccessFactors itself.
    • Experience in managing and executing tests.
    • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner with a high degree of personal responsibility.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Enjoy continuous learning, even in complex situations.
    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
    • Understanding German would be considered as advantage.
    • University degree in Information Technology or a related field.
