Our client is a Chicago-based leader in vehicle lifecycle innovation. Their platform connects 350+ insurers, 24,000+ repair shops, and parts/data providers through AI and mobile tech—driving smarter experiences and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do
Building a document intelligence solution based on the latest GenAI technology
Providing teams with operational support and developing solutions
Building model pipelines, implementing appropriate ML algorithms
Collaborating closely with data scientists, software engineers, and subject matter experts to provide top-notch solutions
What You Bring
Advanced knowledge of Python (native, Pandas, ScikitLearn, Tensorflow or Pytorch, PyStats, Pydantic)
Advanced knowledge of SQL and Data Modeling
Experience with GenAI (prompt engineering, optimization, API engineering)
Skills in Machine Learning/ Data Science (e.g., ML algorithm selection, feature engineering, model training, hyperparameter tuning, supervised and unsupervised learning implementation, building model pipelines, using Machine Learning tools/libraries/frameworks)
Expertise in language modeling (e.g., transformers, HuggingFace, Named Entity Recognition, text cleaning)
Competency in experiment design (power analysis and hypothesis testing)
Proficiency in both written and verbal communication required for a remote and primarily asynchronous work environment
Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate complex technical problems and propose iterative solutions
Experience owning a feature from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution
Self-motivated and self-managed with strong organizational skills
Nice to Have
Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative fields
Experience with AWS tools for ML Engineering and ML deployment (Sagemaker,
Lambda, Cloudformation/CDK, Step Functions)
Experience working with AWS big data technologies (Redshift, S3, EMR, Glue, etc.)
Background in healthcare or insurance
English level
