What You’ll Own

• Core distributed systems that directly impact user experience

Your Experience

• 3+ years shipping Rust in production (or 5+ years systems programming with 2+ years Rust)

• Strong track record building and scaling distributed services

• Deep understanding of async patterns and systems programming

• Solid computer science fundamentals that you apply pragmatically

• Experience with modern architectural patterns (event sourcing, CQRS, actor model)

• Expertise in testing strategies for complex systems

Technical Skills

• Advanced Rust: You’re comfortable with lifetimes, trait bounds, and know when to reach for unsafe

• Database optimization experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or time-series databases

• Hands-on experience with message queuing and event streaming

• Strong debugging skills for distributed systems

• Performance profiling and optimization mindset
