Project Description

This role is part of a project focused on delivering a modern, user-friendly platform for paratransit eligibility management. The new system is designed to replace outdated and inflexible legacy tools, improving both accessibility and operational efficiency.

As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the platform’s high quality, with a special emphasis on accessibility testing, helping to ensure the product complies with WCAG standards and is inclusive for all users.

The application is a web-adaptive module, integrated within a broader system and relying on third-party service connections. Testing is conducted within the client’s infrastructure and tool ecosystem.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform functional and non-functional manual testing
• Design and execute manual test cases based on business and system requirements
• Perform thorough API testing using Postman and REST concepts
• Conduct accessibility testing to ensure WCAG compliance and identify usability issues
• Apply a variety of test design techniques to improve coverage and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and designers
• Contribute to improving overall QA strategy and documentation
• Prepare for and participate in demos (confident English speaking required)

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in QA
• Understanding software testing process
• Experience in test documentation creation
• Hands-on experience with accessibility testing (WCAG, ARIA, NVDA, VoiceOver, WAVE, axe, etc.)
• Experience with API testing (REST, HTTP methods, status codes, Postman)
• Experience with SQL database
• Experience with Dev tools
• Experience in Project and Test management systems
• Experience in FunctionalRegression, UI, Integration, Acceptance, Cross-Browsers testing
• Knowledge of test case design and test planning methodologies
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical mindset
• Proactive, independent, and confident in recommending QA approaches
• Comfortable working with international teams
• Good team player
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) – B2+ level
