Our team is involved in the development of video conference system recordings service. Service is responsible for recording conferences as media files.
We utilize the most modern technologies, microservice architecture. We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator who will join our team
This role requires on-site presence at our office 4 days a week to support effective collaboration and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration and support of Oracle Database (primarily 19c), including performance monitoring, tuning, patching, upgrades, CPU/PSU installation, database cloning;
Installation and configuration of Oracle RDBMS software across development, testing, and production environments;
Troubleshooting database-related issues and working with Oracle Support when necessary;
Participation in on-call rotation to support business-critical production databases.
Requirements:
5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years specifically in Oracle Database administration, configuration, and troubleshooting;
Deep understanding of backup, restore, and recovery strategies;
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Developers, QA engineers, and Oracle Support;
Solid scripting skills (Bash is required; Python is a plus);
Strong working knowledge in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.)
Good spoken and written communication skills in English;
Nice to Have:
Experience with Oracle GoldenGate or other replication tools;
Familiarity with document-oriented databases (e.g., MongoDB/PerconaDB);
Ability to read and write scripts in Python;
Basic experience or understanding of Ansible for automation and infrastructure provisioning.
