Business analyst (BA)

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in a similar position (Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, System Analyst) in software development projects of at least 3 years
• Experience in banking
• Experience in SQL
• Experience with data mapping, data migration, or system integration projects
• Analytical skills to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources
• University degree

ADVANTAGES:

• Certification in Business Analysis is a plus
• Knowledge of UML diagramming notations and tools
• Knowledge of UML diagramming notations and tools
• Experience in SQL is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyzing data structures, designing mapping logic between system
• Design and maintain data mapping documents (source-to-target definitions)
• Evaluation of the information gathered from multiple sources
• Analyze customers’ business processes and operations
• Engaging with various stakeholders, understanding their needs, and managing their expectations
• Develop functional and non-functional requirements for software products
• Clarify requirements for the needs of design, development, QA and support teams
• Performing an appropriate system gap analysis involves evaluating the differences between the current state of a system (as-is) and the desired future state (to–be).

SOFT SKILLS:

• Ability to work independently with limited specs
• Analytical abilities, a structural approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem solving and research skills, systems thinking, quick learning
