With a strong presence in the payments space and a mission to empower business growth, they are now looking to expand their team with a skilled Performance Engineer.

    About the Role

    We are seeking a Performance Engineer to join our client’s expanding technology team. In this critical role, you will focus on optimizing the performance, scalability, and reliability of high-demand systems used in card payment processing and digital transactions. You will play a key role in diagnosing performance issues, designing test strategies, and collaborating across departments to ensure seamless user experience and system stability.

    Your Background

    • 5+ years of experience in performance and automation testing
    • Strong command of performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, NeoLoad, or OctoPerf
    • Programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
    • Solid understanding of SQL and performance tuning (e.g., indexing, query optimization)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

    Nice to Have

    • Experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics
    • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or Splunk
    • Knowledge of modern system architectures (distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native)
    • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
    • Understanding of network latency, I/O performance, and system resource management
    • Experience with public cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
