About the Role
We are seeking a Performance Engineer to join our client’s expanding technology team. In this critical role, you will focus on optimizing the performance, scalability, and reliability of high-demand systems used in card payment processing and digital transactions. You will play a key role in diagnosing performance issues, designing test strategies, and collaborating across departments to ensure seamless user experience and system stability.
Your Background
5+ years of experience in performance and automation testing
Strong command of performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, NeoLoad, or OctoPerf
Programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
Solid understanding of SQL and performance tuning (e.g., indexing, query optimization)
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
Experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or Splunk
Knowledge of modern system architectures (distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native)
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
Understanding of network latency, I/O performance, and system resource management
Experience with public cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
