    As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect in our FlexHub team.

    The Cluster FlexHub supports all clusters within Delivery Organization of Commerzbank with skilled personel, teams and IT services for strategic initiatives bringing innovation to products. We work in the Cluster in an agile structure, in which the teams work independently and flexibly on their tasks. Each team assumes responsibility for the product in the application and context environment from start to finish, from business analysis to software development to operation. The teams use agile working methods for their organization to deliver products to customers faster and more efficiently.

    Your tasks:

    • Leading the design, build and operational aspects of cloud applications, DevSecOps and working on implementing cloud native solutions;
    • Developing cloud adoption strategies aligned with organizational goals;
    • Designing scalable and secure cloud architecture;
    • Managing cloud migrations with minimal disruption to operations;
    • Analysis of digital trends, competitors and business models as well as defining solution options and recommendations as a basis for Board decisions on Commerzbank’s future digital strategy and direction;
    • Providing high-level and detailed consultative solutions and technical support;
    • Working with the IT clusters to develop target architectures, in particular by creating development plans for defined sub-areas, taking into account the overall architecture strategy including roadmaps for achieving the target architectures (stages, investments, dependencies/overall sequencing);
    • Understanding business requirements and be able to translate them into technical requirements;
    • Ensuring and implementing target achievement through involvement in concrete measures and projects to implement target architectures and ensuring conformity with target architectures;
    • Evaluation of the architectural maturity of the cluster and derivation of recommendations for action. Acting as a driver for comprehensive standardisation with regard to the implementation of technologies and infrastructures.

    Your profile:

    • Strong technical skills in cloud computing, including experience with public and private cloud platforms such as, Azure, and Google Cloud;
    • Deep understanding of cloud computing principles, including virtualization, containerization, digital asset repositories, microservices, and serverless computing;
    • Experience with cloud infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager;
    • Strong expertise in cloud security principles, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security;
    • Good understanding of data privacy requirements and regulatory compliance;
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills;
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment;
    • Fluency in English – both written and spoken;
    • University degree in IT or relevant.
