As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Senior Product Owner (Firewall Service) in our Network and Security Infrastructure team.
Your tasks:
Owning and evolving the Firewall Subservice roadmap in alignment with NSI strategy and security requirements;
Managing the product backlog, prioritize features and enhancements, and ensure timely delivery of service improvements;
Collaborating with engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure robust and compliant firewall operations;
Serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across business and IT regarding firewall capabilities and service performance;
Ensuring integration and alignment with related services such as DDI, SIEM, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP);
Overseeing service KPIs including incident response time, deployment timelines, and change success rates;
Coordinating with external vendors and internal teams on tooling such as Fortinet (Fortigate, Fortimanager, Fortianalyzer), Guardicore, COMFORT, and Algosec;
Maintaining awareness of dependencies and ensuring operational integrity across environments (Prod, NSI-LAB);
Supporting audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives using tools like Archer and ComRAM.
Your profile:
Proven experience as a Product Owner or Service Manager in network security or infrastructure services;
Strong understanding of firewall technologies (Fortinet stack preferred) and policy management tools (e.g., Algosec);
Familiarity with microsegmentation, identity-based access control, and hybrid cloud environments;
Experience working with ITIL-based service management, RACI models, and KPI-driven reporting;
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
Fluency in English – both written and spoken;
University degree in IT or relevant.
