AI Game Production Intern

We’re looking for an AI Intern to join our Cayetano team in Sofia. This internship is all about experimentation and learning by doing. You’ll work closely with our game design team to explore how artificial intelligence can shape the future of slot games development.

Cayetano Gaming is a dynamic and creative game studio that’s part of the global Flutter Entertainment group. Based in Sofia, we design and build innovative online casino games enjoyed by millions of players worldwide. What you’ll do:

The focus of this internship is to experiment with an AI tool for game creation and explore how we can automate or speed up parts of the early game development process—from idea generation to prototyping.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, self-driven, and genuinely excited about AI. You should enjoy playing slot games and be eager to discover how they’re actually made—from the first sketch of an idea to the final, polished product. As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to learn by doing, playing and analyzing games during work hours, and contribute to real game development projects right from the earliest stages.

In addition to prototyping, you’ll also help with localization and in-game text content creation, using AI tools to ensure that game texts are engaging, easy to understand, and meet regulatory standards.

What you’ll learn:

• Working with AI tools for game creation
• Developing slots game concepts and prototypes
• Understanding core principles of game design and mechanics
• Gaining insight into the full slot game development lifecycle – from idea to finished product
• Creating and adapting in-game text content
• Basics of localization and translation for game elements

What you’ll bring:

• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Game Development (Software Development)
• Curiosity, creativity, and can-do attitude
• Passion for playing and analyzing slot games
• Basic understanding of how digital products (like games) are structured
• Willingness to learn, research and experiment with new tools and workflows
• Very good verbal and written English (for game content creation tasks)
• Basic presentation skills and confidence to share findings, ideas, or prototypes
• Familiarity with design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar (for basic visual prototyping or idea presentation)
• Mathematical skills and logical thinking to understand game mechanics
