Lead DevOps Engineer

We’re hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the reliability, scalability, and automation of GeoWealth’s cloud infrastructure. You’ll lead a small but mighty DevOps team, own our CI/CD workflows, observability stack, and cloud architecture — while working closely with our elite engineering team to support a product used by names like JP Morgan and BlackRock.

What You’ll Do 

• Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure (OCI + multi-cloud)
• Automate everything: provisioning, deployments, monitoring, recovery
• Guide and grow a DevOps team (currently 4 people)
• Own the observability stack: ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Open Telemetry
• Optimise our CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and Terraform
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure smooth, secure, and scalable environments
• Be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation (shared and well-compensated)

What You Bring 

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
• Hands-on with Oracle Cloud (OCI)
• Proficient with Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Strong Linux/Unix background and scripting in Bash or Python
• Experience with observability tools (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Understanding of networks, security, load balancers, and firewalls
• Team leadership or mentorship experience
• Ownership mindset and strong communication skills

Nice to Have 

• Experience with AWS, or GCP
• Familiarity with virtualization tools (QEMU, KVM)
• GitLab CI/CD and Slack API integrations
• Previous fintech or high-compliance environment experience
