SoftServe, a global digital consulting company, collaborating with agile engineering teams to enhance and evolve complex platforms. We’re working with the Test Flow team to deliver backend features that power study creation and results workflows, using a pragmatic and highly iterative development model.
We cooperate with engineering-led partners on platform modernization and cloud-native delivery. We’re currently engaged in a scoped backend initiative to enhance a core system through iterative development, emphasizing hands-on software engineering, not architectural rework.
IF YOU ARE
Having at least 6-8 years of experience in .NET Core and .NET Framework development
Proficient in authentication & authorization concepts and tools (e.g., Auth0)
Accustomed to SQL Server, including performant query writing
Experienced in both monolithic (IIS) and microservice (Kubernetes) environments
Aware of legacy frontend code (e.g., jQuery, Backbone) and its backend implications
Skilled in managing technical debt, modernizing services, and handling package upgrades or vulnerability resolution
Open to experimentation, proof-of-concepts, and cross-functional contributions
A strong communicator with clear documentation and team collaboration skills
Fluent in English
AND YOU WANT TO
Maintain and improve legacy .NET code while modernizing services and features incrementally
Maintain authentication flows, reduce technical risk, and improve performance
Work on platform upgrades, Auth provider improvements, and vulnerability management
Collaborate with POs, engineers, and architects to identify and execute pragmatic solutions
Reduce complexity and improve maintainability in both monolith and microservice systems
Contribute to internal developer experience initiatives, tools, and shared standards
Support and guide other developers working with legacy systems
Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint reviews, and team discussions to drive outcomes
