As they scale, they’re looking for a Data Science Technical Lead to lead and grow our data science team, delivering impactful solutions to complex problems.
Role summary:
As a Data Science Technical Lead, you’ll be the go-to expert, you will drive the design, implementation, and timely delivery of AI/ML solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure building scalable and robust AI/ML solutions that deliver real value.
Essential responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a high-performing data science team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
Design, architect and deliver data science solutions, from experimentation to production-ready systems
Guide model development, deployment, and monitoring best practices, ensuring reliability and scalability
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities where data science can make the most impact
Ensure adherence to data privacy, ethics, and responsible AI principles
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in AI/ML and bring cutting-edge techniques into practice
Contribute hands-on to critical projects as a technical expert
How would you hit the ground running in this role?
Proven experience (5+ years) in data science, with a strong focus on machine learning and statistical modeling
2+ years leading or mentoring data science teams
Deep knowledge of Python, machine learning frameworks and cloud platforms (AWS)
Strong understanding of data engineering, MLOps, and production deployment of ML models
Excellent communication skills – able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
Passion for solving real-world problems with AI/ML
