Senior React Native Developer

We are looking for a mobile developer, who’s going to join one of our teams & help them build and scale an existing product.

The core stack includes React Native, React, TypeScript and a variety of additional tools and libraries. 

This is a remote-friendly / hybrid position, where our primary office is located in Sofia.

What’s important for the position:

1. 5+ years of relevant mobile development experience, with focus on React Native.
2. Any additional frontend experience with things like React / Angular / Vue / etc. would be considered a great plus.
3. Any additional native mobile development experience would be considered a great plus.
4. Any additional TypeScript experience would be considered a great plus.
5.  Good web development fundamentals – CSS, JavaScript, HTML.
6.  An eye for detail – the projects are user-facing & in production.
7.  Desire to work, learn & grow.
8. The ability to communicate well with teammates and clients, in order to figure out what needs to be built (software wise).
9. The ability to put chaos into order (software wise).

What you’ll do:

1. Join an existing development team.
2. Deal with existing React & React Native codebases
3. Build a functional mobile-app that’s going to be used by millions of people.
4. Implement end-to-end frontend features with a specific framework.
5. Lift abstractions from existing bits and pieces.
6. Break down abstractions into more maintainable bits and pieces.
7. Actively communicate with the team on progress and priorities.
8. Work within a well-established software development process.

Interview Process:

1. Only short-listed candidates will proceed to the interviewing process.
2. We start with a phone screening (up to 30 minutes), getting to know each other.
3. Optionally, short-listed candidates will receive a take-home problem to solve on their own. We will decide based on the phone screening.
4. The big item here is the on-site technical interview, where we’ll do a deep-dive into various technical topics. This usually takes up to 2 hours.
5. Short-listed candidates will continue in the process with a set of additional technical & non-technical interviews, depending on the candidate, to further explore the opportunity.
