Senior UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to take a leading role in designing user interfaces for our strategic cloud platform, encompassing payment applications and device management solutions. This senior position requires strong leadership in design system execution and collaboration across multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead collaboration with product, UI/UX, and development teams to design innovative and scalable user interfaces for our cloud product portfolio.
• Own and drive the cloud product portfolio design system, ensuring UX/UI consistency, alignment with guidelines, and adoption across cross-functional teams.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence.
• Collaborate closely with developers and design colleagues to ensure feasibility and seamless implementation of designs.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies, providing strategic design insights and feedback to align with project and business goals.
• Serve as a key liaison between design and development teams, championing shared ownership and long-term scalability of the design system.
• Identify technical and design constraints; document foundations and components to promote reusability and maintainability.
• Promote accessibility standards, reduce technical/design debt, and oversee component approval and design system roadmap.
• Create comprehensive UI/UX design assets, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, ensuring they are development-ready.
• Effectively communicate design decisions and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 4+ years in UI/UX design roles with proven senior-level experience leading design system implementation and adoption within agile teams.
• Deep expertise in UI design principles and best practices, including accessibility and responsive design.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and experience with design systems such as Maestro.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, SASS), with React framework knowledge considered an advantage.
• Experience designing with front-end development needs in mind, including documentation for design systems.
• Comfortable with remote collaboration and working in a global, cross-functional environment.
