Responsibilities
Develop robust and scalable enterprise cloud applications, focusing on data-intensive modules and ensuring optimal performance
Engage with clients to gather and refine requirements, conduct demos, and effectively present the results of your work
Take ownership of solution implementation, clearly communicating its intricacies to both internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to the software quality control process and participate in code review sessions as a subject matter expert
Adhere to established Agile development methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban, SaFe) to facilitate efficient and collaborative development
Requirements
Proven track record of 5+ years in cloud-based Python programming, with expertise in building enterprise-grade API endpoints using Flask
Experience in utilizing the Python Pandas library for data analysis
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing
Proficiency in working with the Databricks platform for ETL pipelines (including leveraging Unity Catalog)
Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, leveraging various services including computing (e.g., serverless), data storage, data and application integration, event distribution and messaging, security, and analytics services and components
Skills in using Jupyter Notebooks or Databricks Notebooks for interactive data exploration and analysis
Familiarity with (cloud) application SDLC (preferably GitHub-based) and a solid grasp of (code) change management processes
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker
Excellent English communication skills (B2+ level) in both written and spoken formats
Nice to have
Knowledge of Collibra data platform for data governance and cataloging
Exposure to AI and Data Science concepts such as Transformers, Vector Search, Vector Databases, and RAG
Understanding of the limitations and security concerns associated with Large Language Models (LLMs) and the ability to leverage corporate LLMs for efficient and optimized code generation based on natural language prompts or requirements
